Flirting is all about letting people know without being too obvious about it. It is the best way of not opening yourself up to disappointment when looking for a date. Here are 6 tips to give you a little start – remember practice makes perfect so try not to think too hard about it and just be natural with your actions:
1. Show an interest
This may sound obvious, but so many people just don’t! Listen to what your potential partner is talking about and keep the focus. Tart with open ended questions and try to make them feel relaxed, which will happen if you are being sincere and relaxed.
2. Relax…. It’s not a job interview!
Take deep breaths throughout the process and try to relax your muscles as much as possible. This will come through in your speech and therefore make you more attractive as you will appear confident.
3. Show sincerity
If you don’t… beware, you will probably be seen right through. Pay some innocent compliments and MEAN THEM!
4. Wide eyes and gaping smile
This is how people initially read you. A genuine smile says a lot about you and shows sexual interest if meant.
5. Touchy Touchy
Without a doubt, this shows a clear interest in the person you are chatting up. It is a great way of getting the person’s focus to you. Dancing is a great start, a hand on arm is not too threatening. Don’t go straight for the juicy bits…. You have been warned!
6. What you lookin at!
Focussed eye contact demonstrates sincerity and genuine attraction. Beware wandering eyes as this is a massive turn off for both sexes – almost a blank.
